It’s been 116 days since the first post in Geneva Believer history. Here at GB worldwide headquarters, we’d like to think we’ve prompted at least a few conversations about issues and affairs impacting our beloved Finger Lakes city.
And today, November 1st, we’ve crossed a milestone for web traffic: we’ve had over 1,000 unique visitors to the blog since its inception back in July of 2016.
In addition, those one thousand-plus readers have tallied over 2,100 views on the site. In all, not a bad start for a humble, hand-crafted news site that was founded with the goal of bringing alternative points of view about anything and everything to the people of Geneva.
So, let’s raise a glass to our 1,000th visitor, and move onward to the next 1000 and beyond!
In the coming days, weeks and months, we’ll be bringing you some more thought-provoking insights and stories about the things happening in Geneva, and some of these articles are sure to get tongues wagging. The newsroom has been receiving a steady stream of tips, ideas and suggestions (and we thank you for all of them) for future articles, and we’re always open to more of your feedback, whether positive or not-so-positive.
Please stop by the Contact page and let us know your thoughts. As always, we’ve got room for new contributors, so if you’ve been thinking about putting pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard) and sharing a story about anything happening in Geneva, please send it along!
Thank you all for your support, and PLEASE spread the word to all your friends, family, colleagues and acquaintances about the new blog in town!
